Book Reviews
Here is a selection of books that I have either read or listened to while driving to work. I only list the books that I liked and would recommend. My value add is to describe where the book fits into the broad spectrum of marketing so you can find books that pertain to your interest. For listening I use the Overdrive APP from my local library and Audiable service from Amazon.
Textbooks
This is a selection of Textbooks that I use or have used in my courses. When choosing a textbook student value is the most important aspect. Value is a combination of price, information, and quality.
OM6 - Operations Management by Collier and Evans
Used for both Operations Management and Quantitative Business Decisions
OM, publish by the 4 LTR Press of Cengage, is a good primer for Operations Management (Ops) and Quantitative Decision Making (Quant). I use this book because it is wallet friendly for my students. There are textbooks that cover the subject more thoroughly but at a substantially higher price. The classic trade off between breadth and depth of the subject.
This textbook does a good job introducing and informing students about different topics in Scientific Management. The depth is adding to each topic through the course videos and class discussions. While nothing is perfect, this textbook offers a good value when combined with my course material.
